Simultaneous optimization on biolubricants obtained through a quaternary mixture of vegetable oils: application of the desirability function

To reduce the environmental impacts and costs of production biolubricant, this work proposes use vegetable oil mixtures that have not been chemically modified. Formulations biolubricants were proposed with jatropha curcas, castor, macauba kernel, pulp oils since these potential physical-chemical properties to generate a high-performance biolubricant. A simplex centroid quaternary mixture design was used desirability function for simultaneous improvement viscosity index lubricity in blends. Good results obtained some blends, especially oil, which presented comparable or superior performance those Macauba has pointed out as new feedstock biodiesel, green diesel, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), its eco-lubricant can aggregate value palm promoting social, economic, ambient benefits.
